Whose book is it Anyway?

Book Week finished off with a very entertaining assembly. The atmosphere was electric as everyone was in the mood for some great fun. Several prizes were given out for the winners of different activities. The best part was when some of the teachers did some great acting so that we could play the game 'Whose Book is it Anyway?'

Parade

The weather on Thursday was beautiful which turned the parade into a lovely occasion. Everyone came to school dressed up as a character from a book. Just before lunch a parade was held around community square where everyone showed off their costumes. It was a very colourful and musical event.

What have Grade 3 been doing?

Hi everyone!! Grade 3 has been doing some rotating activities demonstrating our love of reading. Here are some pictures of our work:

We are learning some facts about Myths and Legends, making book reports, bookmarks, powerpoint stories, Math stories and other fun stuff!

ضمن فعاليات أسبوع الكتاب قامت دائرة اللغة العربية ( المرحلة الابتدائية) باستضافة الكاتبة مارغو ملاتجليان حيث قامت بقراءات قصصية لعدد من الصفوف كانت على النحو التالي : الصفان الرابع والخامس قراءة قصة " وبقيت السمكة وحيدة " ، وأيضاً إلقاء مجموعة من القصائد المغناة للشاعر الكبير "محمود درويش ". الصف البستان قراءة قصة " متى أكبر؟" و" الفراشات الثلاث " كانت فرحة وابتسامة طلبة الصف التمهيدي مرسومة على وجوههم حين قرأت الكاتبة قصة " الجمل والولد الصغير " و " اثنان من فضلك".ء

What have R2N been doing?

Even though the library was closed this week due to the book sale, donations and other activities, Reception 2 N still went and enjoyed reading some books there.

What are R2J doing?

Reception 2J read the story of The 3 Billy Goats Gruff. In Maths, we built bridges to go over the river. They had to be strong enough for the biggest billy goat. Look at what we built...

Thankfully, all the bridges were strong enough for the goat to cross.
